Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu held a Culminating Activity for the Japanese Language Scholarship Program

The Philippine College of Technology in partnership with Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu held a Culminating Activity for the Japanese Language Scholarship Program last February 14,2023. The students showcased their Japanese Language abilities through VLOG Creation, MUSIC & ART Exhibit . These activities demonstrated their communication skills in the Language as well as their knowledge about the Japanese Culture.
PCT invited a panel of judges who have expertise in language communication.
Dr. Katsuhisa Ota a native Japanese based in Mindanao. A Japanese Interpreter with years of experience in Japanese and Filipino language and culture greatly contributed to the improvement of the students output through his valuable insights.
Mr. Julius Cabatingan , Filipino Japanese Language Interpreter and Professor gave advises on how to successfully pass the JLPT N4.
Dr. Geoffrey Marfa, Program Head of the College of Education and an expert in English Language and Communication, evaluated the students’ manner of communication.
The Chairperson and School President Dr. Rossini L. Balili showed her support to the Japanese Language Scholars by giving them words of encouragement to continue and pursue their goals to work in Japan.
The main objective of the program is to select students to qualify for the Japanese Language Scholarship. After passing the JLPT N4, the Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu through its’ partner companies in Japan and POEA registered Manpower Agency will facilitate the employment of the scholars.
This event is a milestone for the Japanese Language Scholarship Program of Philippine College of Technology and Global Human Resource Hamamatsu. Both companies aim to help deserving students gain access to education and employment in Japan.
