Philippine College of Technology, Inc, in partnership with Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu, culminated its language exchange program between Japanese and Filipino students last February 22, 2023.
PCT Japanese Language Scholars had their Japanese N4 intensive review with Sensei Hisano Hori of Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu. This series of activities will prepare the students for the JLPT N4 Exam in July 2023.
The Japanese Students from Shizuoka University of
Arts and Culture had their English Language Program with Professor Geoffrey Marfa, assisted by Mr. Jose Salido. The 4th Year BSED Major in English students also participated in the activity. This activity enabled both students to learn different strategies in teaching language.
On the same day, there was a TURNOVER CEREMONY wherein Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu Japan donated 50 Melodeons to the Philippine College of Technology as a sign of support for the PCT Marching Band and, at the same time, encourage the students to love music. The Chief Coordinator of Japan Foundation, Ms. Ryoko Matsuda, and the Rotary North Davao Officers witnessed the ceremony. After the ceremony, PCT hosted a FILIPINO Themed Buffet lunch with an Ethnic Dance Presentation by the Metro Davao Performers.
In PCT, students are able to experience borderless opportunities because of its determination to collaborate with international organizations that will make learning more interesting and relevant.
