Officers of the Rotary North Davao , Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu Japan and the students from the Shizuoka University of Arts and Culture

The Philippine College of Technology,Inc (PCT) together with the Officers of the Rotary North Davao , Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu Japan and the students from the Shizuoka University of Arts and Culture paid a courtesy visit to the Consulate General of Japan in Davao City last February 24,2023. This visit gained the support of Consul General Ishikawa Yoshihisa on the donation projects and student exchange programs of Philippine College of Technology,Inc , Rotary North Davao and Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu
This visit was followed by a meeting with the Chief of Davao Investment and Promotion Center - Ms. April Marie C. Dayap,MBA. In this meeting, the intent of Hamamatsu Japan to build sisterhood projects with Davao City which includes Japanese Language Scholarship and donation programs was discussed. The potential projects that the organizations will be bringing in Davao City paved way to a courtesy meeting with Mayor Sebastian Z.Duterte last Feb 28,2023 at Arcadia Davao. The Executive Director of KURETAKESO Co., LTD - Mr. Takafumi Yamashita joined the meeting. He expressed his interest to consider Davao City in their international expansion plans in the near future and hire manpower for their chain of hotels, restaurants and welfare businesses in Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia. Currently, KURETAKESO Co., LTD operates 44 business hotels, 5 City Hotels, 4 Resort Hotels, 5 welfare businesses in Japan and 5 overseas hotels in Asia. Ms.Hisano Hori - representative of the Board of Directors of Global Human Resource Support Hamamatsu and Dr. Rossini L. Balili Chairman/ School President of PCT also discussed the partnership for training, certification and Jobs Facilitation thru its partner POEA accredited manpower agency the JOBSCONNECT Manpower Agency, Inc Davao branch headed by its branch manager Ms. Ma.Teresita B. Gatdula for students enrolled in PCT. Mayor Sebastian Z. Duterte expressed his optimism to the projects that the organizations will be initiating in the City.
The ongoing collaboration of Philippine College of Technology to various local and international organizations will truly bring benefits to its students and other stakeholders.
